Danish toy maker LEGO has introduced its first Star Trek set: the Icons series USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from The Next Generation.
For many fans, the most iconic Enterprise is the NCC-1701-D, the flagship that served Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew throughout The Next Generation series. This starship was the fifth Federation vessel to bear the name (or sixth if counting the NX-01 from the prequel series Enterprise). It met its fate in the film Star Trek: Generations.
