First responders are actively fighting a four-alarm fire at a warehouse in Baltimore’s Remington neighborhood that began Friday afternoon. According to John Marsh, spokesperson for the Baltimore City Fire Department, the blaze is located in a commercial building at the intersection of 23rd Street and Hampden Avenue.

The fire department is on site along with the Baltimore Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management. Fire officials evacuated 23 residents from rowhomes on the 400 block of West 23rd Street, which is adjacent to the affected warehouse. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported among civilians or firefighters.

“All civilians are in good shape.”
