Cineplex Community Day is celebrating its 13th year, returning on November 15 to participating Ontario theatres. Guests can enjoy free movie screenings and gaming sessions at The Rec Room and Playdium.
“Cineplex Community Day is consistently one of my favourite days of the year, as we welcome guests from communities across the country to join us for a morning of free movies or to engage in some friendly competition at The Rec Room or Playdium,” said Ellis Jacob, president and CEO at Cineplex.
Free movie tickets will be available only in person starting at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s lineup includes Minions: The Rise of Gru, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Sing 2, and The Wild Robot.
To make the experience even better, Cineplex will offer discounted snacks—regular popcorn, drinks, and select candies priced at $3 plus tax until 11 a.m.
At Cineplex’s XSCAPE locations, guests can also enjoy a free 30-minute non-redemption play card or arcade tokens, available before or after the movie.
Cineplex Community Day 2025 invites Ontario residents to enjoy free films, games, and snacks for one day only on November 15 across participating venues.
