Lisa Riley is reportedly set to participate in this year's ITV jungle survival show, I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! The Emmerdale actress, aged 49, is eager to tackle the challenging Bushtucker Trials to win stars—meals for her campmates.
Lisa describes herself as someone who would face any task directly without overthinking. In an interview with Betway, she said:
"If I were to do anything regarding any of the tasks, then I am the sort of person who doesn’t overthink anything; I would just take it hands-on and tackle it."
While willing to confront the trials, Lisa admits she has her fears, including walking under ladders. She explained:
"There are various things I am scared of, and walking under ladders is one of them. It’s not just a case of [bugs and snakes], in life you can be scared of lots of things, and bad manners is a good one to be scared of."
With rumors swirling about her involvement, Lisa feels 2025 might be the right time to join the show. She shared:
"Maybe it's the year when I really need to think about going in. But listen, they ask me every year – the carrot is always dangled. So, I’m not going to say yes or no, but all I can say is, maybe it is something I should think about doing after seeing all of the love for me going in or for potentially doing it is unbelievable."
Lisa's enthusiasm and openness suggest she might soon accept the call to face the jungle's toughest challenges.
