The legendary rock band AC/DC announced their Power Up tour earlier this year, marking their first Australian homecoming in ten years. Due to overwhelming demand for the Melbourne Cricket Ground show on November 12, promoters quickly added a second and final date on November 16.
New tickets are available now through Ticketek, but fans should act fast as these additional releases are strictly limited. After selling two million tickets across 24 shows in Europe and completing ten sold-out concerts in North America, AC/DC are finally bringing their high-voltage rock spectacle back to Australia.
The band finished their Cleveland show in May before launching into an extensive European leg that began in Prague on June 26, with stops ranging from Estonia to Scotland.
“After conquering Europe with two million tickets sold across 24 shows and smashing through 10 sold-out North American dates, AC/DC are finally bringing their stadium-shaking spectacle back home.”
Melbourne punk band Amyl and the Sniffers will open all Australian dates, following the success of their acclaimed album Cartoon Darkness.
