Lorraine Kelly to Celebrate Another Year of Fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

STV will broadcast a live special from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow on Friday, celebrating the projects supported by the STV Children’s Appeal in 2025. The programme will shine a light on three initiatives that received funding this year.

Longtime STV Children’s Appeal trustee and TV personality Lorraine Kelly will host the event, meeting participants who have contributed to or benefited from the charity’s efforts. Ahead of the show, Kelly was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf made from the official STV Children’s Appeal tartan, crafted by the Paisley-based Houston Kiltmakers. The tartan, designed in the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue tones, was created earlier this year to generate additional support for fundraising.

“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them,”

said Kelly, expressing her enthusiasm for the live broadcast and the people making a difference through the initiative.
