Heavy, wet snow is forecasted for Banff and near Lake Louise, starting Friday evening and continuing through Saturday night. Snow accumulation is expected to reach 10 to 15 centimetres within 24 hours.

"Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow," the report warned.
