6th Islamic Solidarity Games to Kick Off in Riyadh
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia will open the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games tomorrow in Riyadh. The event will run until November 21, welcoming participants from 57 Islamic countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Games highlight the Kingdom’s leadership in strengthening unity among Islamic nations through sports. This year marks the return of the event to Saudi Arabia, two decades after its inaugural edition in Makkah, which brought together athletes from across the Islamic world.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sport, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association, shared his enthusiasm for hosting the event.
