During a Rivalry Series game between the Canadian and American women’s national teams, fans received a first look at Team Canada’s Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic hockey jersey. With only three months left until the Olympic Winter Games, excitement across Canada is building rapidly.
The 2026 Games will mark the return of NHL players to Olympic ice for the first time since Sochi 2014. If the intensity witnessed in the recent 4 Nations Face-Off is any preview, the upcoming tournament promises to be unforgettable.
Six players have already been confirmed for Team Canada’s men’s roster:
Aside from Crosby, who previously starred at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014, all selected players will make their Olympic debut. The remaining roster will be unveiled in early January.
On the women’s side, Team Canada continues to be the gold standard in Olympic hockey. Since women’s hockey debuted at Nagano 1998, the team has never missed the podium and enters Milano Cortina 2026 as the defending Olympic champion.
“At Beijing 2022, Team Canada’s captain Marie-Philip Poulin became the first player—male or female—to score in four Olympic gold medal games.”
The women’s roster is expected to be revealed in January as well.
Team Canada unveiled stunning new jerseys for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, as anticipation builds for both the men’s and women’s hockey tournaments featuring elite NHL and national talent.
