NHS England Issues Urgent Flu Jab Appeal
The NHS has launched a “flu jab SOS” as England prepares for what is expected to be a severe flu season in the coming weeks. England’s chief nurse is urging people who are eligible to get vaccinated promptly to be protected before the winter peak.

To meet rising demand, the NHS is opening 2.4 million vaccination appointments next week—enough to cover the entire population of Greater Manchester or Botswana.
