At the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital (JFD) in Tappita, Nimba County, a senior official has filed a complaint with the Civil Service Agency (CSA) against the hospital's management.
The official, Tumu Lormie, who serves as the long-serving Procurement Manager, alleges unlawful administrative action and unfair employment practices. She claims that the hospital's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kaizer, attempted to remove her from her recognized position and place her in a newly created role outside the hospital's approved structure.
According to Lormie, this action violates the Civil Service Standing Orders.
The JFD Memorial Hospital, Liberia's second-largest referral hospital, was built by the Government of the People's Republic of China as a gift to Liberia through bilateral cooperation under Sirleaf's administration.
