Stein’s favourite casual stop for a quick meal is Tobikiri, a small husband-and-wife Japanese restaurant tucked away in Neutral Bay, just behind Military Road. The intimate venue has about ten tables and a loyal local following.
“I love Tobikiri, a tiny husband-and-wife Japanese restaurant in Neutral Bay with about 10 tables. It's amazing what a husband and wife and one waiter can do,” Rick Stein told Broadsheet.
The restaurant serves traditional Japanese dishes and is praised for its authenticity. Locals describe it as “a great little authentic restaurant” with exceptional sashimi and sushi selections.
