Ryan Murphy, Hollywood’s laureate of bad taste, has delivered one of the weakest productions Disney+ has ever released. All’s Fair, starring Kim Kardashian, stands out as a display of poor execution and misguided ambition.
Kim Kardashian’s Unconventional Path
Whatever one might say about Kim Kardashian, she has never followed a predictable route. In 2014, she and her then-husband Kanye West flew from their wedding at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence to Cork Airport for their honeymoon. Their trip reportedly included a stay in Castlemartyr and a stop in Portlaoise, where they attended a mid-afternoon screening of X-Men: Days of Future Past at the local Storm Cinema.
Years later, long divorced from West, Kardashian continues to follow her own instincts, seemingly unaffected by how the public might perceive her.
A Star-Studded Yet Troubled Project
Unfortunately, All’s Fair suffers despite its high-profile ensemble. The show is described as “a proper atrocity exhibition,” a striking criticism considering Disney+ has had its share of poor offerings. Kardashian’s influence has nonetheless drawn an impressive cast featuring major Hollywood figures.
