Actor, comedian, and philanthropist Tiffany Haddish embarks on an African adventure with three childhood friends in the new Peacock docuseries Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, premiering November 13. The series, inspired by the film Girls Trip, follows Haddish and her close friends on a month-long journey through South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.
When greeted with a “Hi, Tiffany, how are you?” Haddish confidently answers, “Successful. How are you?” She encourages the perspective of winning simply by waking up each day, stating, “You woke up today, so you’re winning. I’m looking at that success.”
Haddish first captured audiences as Dina in the 2017 movie Girls Trip, starring alongside Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Queen Latifah. Despite fans often mixing up her character Dina with her real persona, Haddish is a multifaceted artist with achievements beyond acting roles.
“You woke up today, so you’re winning. I’m looking at that success.”
Her memoir, The Last Black Unicorn (2017), highlights her journey, and she already holds nominations for two EGOT awards. Beyond entertainment, Haddish is dedicated to philanthropy through her She Ready Foundation, which supports children in foster care.
Tiffany Haddish combines humor, heartfelt advocacy, and a bold spirit in her new documentary series, showcasing her growth beyond the screen and her dedication to meaningful causes.
