Pastor Charged with Human Trafficking and Sexual Battery
A pastor from the Oklahoma City area, Elmer Baca Flores, has been charged with human trafficking and sexual battery following an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Unit.

According to the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office, Flores allegedly used his position as a pastor to spiritually coerce victims, forcing them to perform certain tasks from his home. One victim reported being subjected to sexual battery during a so-called "test" of resisting temptation.
- Flores was initially arrested in April 2025 on charges of lewd acts with a child.
- In October 2025, the charges were amended to include five counts of human trafficking for labor and one count of sexual battery.
