Anum Chiefs and Obaapa Foundation Oppose Child Marriage
The Anum Traditional Area in the Eastern Region has declared a commitment to end child marriage and protect young girls' rights, using the 2025 Odweogyi Festival as a rallying point for social transformation.
Partnering with the Obaapa Development Foundation, traditional leaders unveiled a GH₵10 million education fund to support girls' education and eliminate harmful cultural practices.
