Hero Train Crew Member Named
Samir Zitouni, known as Sam, a 48-year-old customer experience host, was working on the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train from Doncaster to London when a mass stabbing attack occurred in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.
According to his employer, Samir "did not hesitate as he stepped forward to protect those around him" and has been credited with helping to save multiple lives.
He has always been a hero, his family said.
