Warning of "Industrialisation by Stealth" in Wales
James Evans MS has warned that Wales faces "industrialisation by stealth" due to 70 onshore wind farm proposals across the country, including five in Brecon & Radnorshire.
- Proposed locations include Aberedw, Nant Mithil (Radnor Forest), Bryn Gilwern, Garreg Fawr (Sennybridge/Pontfaen), and Banc y Celyn (Erwood/Upper Chapel)
- Over 100 turbines are planned, each exceeding 200 meters in height
