Oireachtas na Samhna Coverage on TG4
Coverage of 'Oireachtas na Samhna 2025' from Belfast continues this weekend on TG4, broadcasting to audiences worldwide.
The annual arts festival, which celebrates Irish language and culture, officially opened on Wednesday at the ICC Belfast, featuring four days of music, song, dance, conversation, and community.
- Over 1,000 people are participating in competitions.
- 80 organisations are involved in this year's Aonach an Oireachtais.
Thousands have travelled from across Ireland and around the world to join the celebrations, which continue until Saturday night.
The schedule includes:
- Friday at 5:30pm: Lár Stáitse showcasing children's competitions on Cúla4, TG4, and Seinnteoir TG4.
- Friday at 7pm: The film AONTAS at Cineworld, Odyssey Arena, marking 20 years of the Irish Language Broadcast Fund.
Repeat broadcasts will be aired on TG4 and Cúla4 on Saturday and Sunday.
