This coming Halloween weekend might be the best time to tag your target buck. The final days of October are slipping by, and the time of year that every whitetail hunter dreams of is at our doorstep.
The bucks will be on their feet throughout the day pursuing does as they come into estrus, but we’re not in the heart of the rut just yet. There’s still time to tag your target buck during the pre-rut.
