High temperatures are expected to reach near record levels across the area today, with most locations experiencing temperatures in the 90s.
A cold front will move through the area this evening, bringing significant changes to South Texas, including much cooler temperatures and windy conditions.
The front will also increase fire weather concerns due to dry air and breezy conditions, with a Fire weather watch in effect from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday, which may be upgraded to a Red Flag warning.
