New Toronto Transit Station to Open Soon
A new station serving GO Transit's Kitchener Line and UP Express is set to open in weeks.
Metrolinx announced that the Mount Dennis GO and UP Station will welcome its first riders in November.
The station is part of the Mount Dennis transit hub, which will include a future connection to the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, expected to open as the TTC's Line 5 - Eglinton.
The GO and UP Express station will open independently of its Line 5 connection, as the Crosstown project has faced delays.
No opening date has been announced for the Crosstown project, which has experienced another hiccup in its final testing phase.
