Three pugilists from the Pinnacle Boxing club in Belleville returned with medals from the provincial championships held in Windsor, Ontario, securing first, second, and third places in their respective weight classes.
The team, led by owner and head coach Blair Crawford, demonstrated a high level of performance at the tournament. Crawford expressed pride in his team's achievement, noting their discipline and focus. He said,
We are extremely disciplined, and we are very focused. Our cardio is second to none in this province, maybe this country, and maybe the world.
Crawford emphasized the rigorous training regimen at Pinnacle Boxing, stating,
I have a rigorous regimen here. I understand the energy systems and the science of boxing. I try to apply it and ensure everybody is always ready.
The coach mentioned that Boxing Ontario releases official match schedules three to four weeks prior to the fight dates, requiring the boxers to be prepared.
