The San Jose Sharks were on the verge of blowing a third-period lead, but Macklin Celebrini saved the day with a 6-5 OT victory.
Despite dominating the first period 2-0, the Sharks' errors led to a Marcus Johansson power play goal and a Marco Rossi strike.
“That was our own doing,” San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said. “That’s one big lesson.”
The same pattern repeated in the third period, but the Sharks managed to regain their lead.
