Villager Loses License After Fourth DUI Conviction
A 61-year-old Villager, Richard Louis Zaiki, has lost his license indefinitely after his fourth conviction for drunk driving.
Zaiki pleaded no contest to a felony charge of driving under the influence in Lake County Court and was placed on probation for four years.
- He was pulled over by the Fruitland Park Police Department on March 7, 2024, around 2 a.m.
- Zaiki had slurred speech and admitted to consuming two shots of tequila.
- He struggled with field sobriety exercises and provided two breath samples, both registering .134 blood alcohol content.
He indicated he was on his way to the Denny’s restaurant.
