Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has instructed the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure full implementation of mother-tongue instruction across all schools in the country.

This policy is part of President Mahama’s educational reset agenda, aiming to strengthen the use of indigenous languages in teaching and learning.
The directive was announced at the launch of the Free Tertiary Education Programme for Persons Living with Disabilities.
