Veteran actor Satish Shah, best known for his iconic roles in "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai," "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro," and "Main Hoon Na," passed away on October 25 at 2:30 pm due to kidney failure.
Shah, 74, had been battling kidney-related complications and had recently undergone a transplant at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. His manager confirmed the news, stating that the funeral is scheduled for Sunday.
Satish Ravilal Shah was born on June 25, 1951, in Bombay (now Mumbai) into a Kutchi Gujarati family. He attended St. Xavier's College before enrolling at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), where he nurtured his passion for acting.
Shah is survived by his wife, designer Madhu Shah, whom he married in 1972. He kept his personal life private, but his legacy in the film and television industry will be deeply mourned by fans and colleagues.
