P. Scott Neville Jr. Sworn in as New Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice
The Illinois Supreme Court has a new chief justice. P. Scott Neville Jr. was sworn in Friday as the 123rd chief justice of the state's high court.
His swearing-in ceremony was held at Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago. The justice's three-year term begins Saturday. He was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court in 2018.
