Denver Bathhouse to Utilize Geothermal Wells and Tax Credit

The owners of Coba, a proposed bathhouse in Denver, plan to harness heat from 800 feet underground using geothermal wells and have secured a $500,000 tax credit.

The Coba team currently operates a mobile sauna, called the Cobacita, on the planned site in the La Alma neighborhood, offering a preview of their vision for a wellness center.

Amenities in the Cobacita include a wood-burning stove, benches for 16 people, and cold plunge pools outside to aid in reducing inflammation.
