End Consumerism, Start a Garden

As of October 17, 2025, in Midnight Erie, PA, a personal journey of gardening began three years ago with just a few tomato plants.

The process involved a cycle of learning about new plants, growing them, and experiencing constant failure until success was achieved. Despite the challenges, the experience feels easy to recall.

A lifelong fascination with creation led to learning sewing, knitting, and baking as a child, and continuing to develop these skills as an adult.

The hours of cooking, gardening, and making clothes have made one thing clear: sustaining our lives requires a lot of time, effort, and money.

This realization highlights the significant amount of resources that are carelessly wasted.
