USC Upstate and Sherman College Strengthen Student-Athlete Care

The University of South Carolina Upstate and Sherman College of Chiropractic have established a formal partnership aimed at providing chiropractic care to Spartan student-athletes and enhancing clinical training opportunities for Sherman College interns.

Chiropractic Care and Training Collaboration

Under this partnership, interns from Sherman College Chiropractic Center, supervised by Dr. Tomasello, associate professor of clinical sciences and Sherman’s Case Doctor for Sports Outreach, will regularly visit USC Upstate. They will deliver chiropractic care designed to improve athlete function, increase mobility, and aid recovery from injuries.

The agreement was officially endorsed by Sherman College President Dr. Jack Bourla and USC Upstate Chancellor Dr. Harris, marking an important collaboration between the two institutions based in Spartanburg.
