Middlesbrough will honor those who fought in conflicts worldwide and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Elected Mayor Chris Cooke will lay the First Poppy at the Cenotaph on Linthorpe Road starting at 10:45 AM on Thursday, November 6.
Local school pupils are invited to lay poppy crosses on the Field of Remembrance.
The Armistice Day service will be held at The Cenotaph on Tuesday, November 11 from 10:45 AM, including a two-minute silence.
The services will be led by Reverend David Goodhew, Vicar of St Barnabas Church in Middlesbrough.
