Top multicultural talent will light up the stage at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Fusion Beats 2025, presented by Wilfrid Laurier University’s Hub for Community Solutions, Laurier International Student Support, the City of Brantford, and the Downtown Brantford BIA, with support from Laurier Brantford Grants, offers an electrifying evening of diverse music and dance. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Art, culture and community engagement are key priorities in the City of Brantford’s Inclusive City Strategy,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Fusion Beats is an opportunity for local performers to shine while celebrating the diversity that makes our city so vibrant.”
Now in its third year, Fusion Beats attracts hundreds of attendees from both Wilfrid Laurier University and the greater community. The event features a lively mix of community and student performers, including line dancing groups and Hindi rap artists.
“As exciting as it is performing at Fusion Beats, I also look forward to hearing and seeing the other musicians and performers,” said Akhil Prabhu, a Laurier student and self-taught classical guitarist appearing for the second time at the event, performing Latin and flamenco rhythms.
Fusion Beats 2025 brings together diverse cultural expressions through music and dance, fostering community pride and highlighting Brantford's vibrant inclusivity.
